2023年11月、滋賀県立陶芸の森でのアーティストインレジデンスに参加しました。
1日の流れの中でこんなにも素材の変化に寄り添いながら、それを汲み取りながら朝から深夜まで自分の制作ができているのは本当に久しぶりで、本来なら2020年にここに来ているはずでしたが、こうして時を経て実現することができ、スタッフの皆さん、周りで刺激をくれる作家の皆さん、ついてきてくれた家族には感謝しかないです。
今回の滞在制作では色も質も違う様々な土を繋いだ作品に挑戦することができました。ありがとうございました！
I joined an artist residency program in Shigaraki @air_sccp on November 2023, which is one of japans most important ceramic destinations.
I had originally planned on coming here back in 2020 but life had other plans… I’m so grateful that I finally made it here! I can’t be more thankful for the amazing support from the staff, all the inspiring artists around my working space, and my family who came along with me.
Mother land, Mother tongue, soul food, I’m deeply comfortable to be back in my home
Looking forward to exhibit my latest works next year!
